Build Points System

What are Build Points?
Build Points are an in-app gamification feature representing your study progress, streak engagement, and section mastery. They are NOT real currency, NOT tradeable for cash or goods, NOT redeemable outside the app, and have NO monetary value. The points system is a learning aid only.
Can I buy Build Points?
No. Build Points are earned through engagement (correct answers, completed sections, streak milestones, daily challenges). Real-money purchases unlock product access (state simulators, lifetime bundles), not Build Points themselves.
Can I cash out my Build Points?
No. Build Points have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash, refunds, or external goods.
Are Build Points gambling?
No. There is no chance-based earning or spending mechanism. All earning is deterministic (based on verifiable user actions). All spending is direct — you exchange points for a specific cosmetic or convenience feature, with no random outcomes. GC Prep contains no loot boxes, prize wheels, or chance-based purchases.
What can I spend Build Points on?
Build Points can be spent on cosmetic and convenience features inside GC Prep — UI theme unlocks, Practice Exam Variation Mode replays, Cram Sheet section unlocks for time-limited preview, streak freezes, and tier-up nudges. None of these provide real-world value.
What happens to my Build Points if I delete my account?
Build Points are tied to your account and are removed during the account-deletion process. There is no transfer mechanism.

Refunds & Account

What is your refund policy?
Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase for digital simulator access. Lifetime bundles follow the same 7-day window. To request a refund, email support@gcprep.app with your purchase confirmation.
How do I delete my account?
Visit your Profile → Account tab → "Delete my account." Account deletion follows a 7-day soft-delete grace period during which you may reactivate. After 7 days, your personal data is permanently removed within 30 days, except where retention is legally required (such as completed-purchase records).
How do I export my data?
Visit your Profile → Account tab → "Download my data." We email you a ZIP file containing your profile, quiz history, and certificates. Delivery within 24 hours.

How do I report a problem with a question?
Use the "Report a problem" button at the bottom-right of any quiz screen, or email support@gcprep.app with the section, question number, and your concern.
